The Federal Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 require a school to have written request from a parent or a guardian before records may be released from the school (such as when a student transfers to another school).  Parents also have the right to review the records and to challenge the content thereof.  A request form will accompany applications of students transferring to FABBA.  No transcripts may leave the school property in the possession of students who have withdrawn from FABBA.
