STUDENT LIFE

Music

Our music program, along with the academic program and other extracurricular programs, allows us to provide a balanced, Christ-centered education at Faithful Ambassadors Bible Baptist Academy.  The music department of Faithful Ambassadors Bible Baptist Academy is an important part of our extracurricular activities.  Music has always been a part of the worship of the Lord.  The right music prepares the heart, and increases our gratitude and draws us closer to the Lord.  It provides the student an outlet to praise the Lord as we see in Psalm 150:3, which reminds us that we should, “Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.”

Our music program trains the students in the appreciation of good music and it positively affects the spirit, Job 21:12 states: “They take the timbrel and harp and rejoice at the sound of the organ.”  Learning an instrument such as the piano opens opportunities of service for each student.

The benefits of the program include character training through a disciplined practice routine.  FABBA has several music ensembles and other special music groups for our students to participate in.  Since this is a leadership position and a privilege, students who have academic or conduct issues will not be permitted to participate or may lose the opportunity to serve if their overall average falls below a C on any report card or progress report or they are suspended from school for any discipline matter.
